Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and accurate Virtual Freelance Data Typist to join our team on a contract basis. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your home office. As a Data Typist, you will be responsible for converting various forms of information into digital formats, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals with excellent typing skills and a strong commitment to quality. You will be instrumental in supporting various client projects by accurately inputting data into our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately type and transcribe data from source documents into digital formats and databases.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, correcting any errors or inconsistencies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all data.
  • Organize and maintain digital files and records efficiently.
  • Adhere to project-specific guidelines and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers regarding progress and any issues encountered.
  • Perform basic data validation tasks as required.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Data Typist or similar data entry role.
  • Exceptional typing speed and accuracy (minimum 60 WPM with high accuracy).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and data entry software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
