Successfully use critical thinking and analytical skills to review collateral.<br>2. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Mortgage Lending products, policies, processes, and their collateral requirements.<br>3. Obtain required collateral documentation per program requirements from internal clients, external clients, vendors, and third-party sources.<br>4. Perform detailed review of all collateral documentation to ensure that loans meet portfolio and investor guidelines.<br>5. Identify and determine next steps for collateral issues that have been escalated.<br>6. Consistently communicate with other departments and sales to ensure pipeline metrics and quality guidelines are met.<br>7. Adhere to all compliance regulations and controls.<br>8. Develop and maintain positive working relationship with co-workers, internal and external clients, business partners and vendors.<br>9. Cultivate relationships with peers as a peer mentor.</div><p></p><div>QUALIFICATIONS<br>Required Qualifications:<br>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<br>1. Four years or more of mortgage or consumer loan underwriting experience - appraisal review experience strongly preferred.<br>2. Three years of continuous collateral review experience<br>3. Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, in relating to internal and external clients<br>4. Demonstrates proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products</div><p></p><div>Preferred Qualifications:<br>1. FHA DE (CHUMS) / VA SAR/LAPP<br>2. Appraisal review or field experience with residential appraising<br>3. Experience with using appraisal and market evaluation tools<br>4. Demonstrates proficiency in mortgage automated processing systems<br>5. Basic knowledge of bank services and products<br>6.
