About the Role

We are a UK accountancy firm, hiring a highly experienced Senior Accountant to support our UK clients.
This role focuses exclusively on reviewing junior work and preparing UK Financial Statements.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare UK Financial Statements (FRS 102 / FRS 105).

· Review trial balances, management accounts, and schedules prepared by junior accountants.

· Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and year-end adjustments (accruals, prepayments, depreciation, payroll journals).

· Identify errors and provide clear review notes to junior team members.

· Prepare supporting schedules for year-end files.

· Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and internal quality standards.

· Liaise with UK managers through email/Teams and participate in review meetings.

Required Experience

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

· Minimum 3 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice (mandatory).

· Strong experience preparing UK Financial Statements for limited companies.

· Proven ability to review and supervise junior accounting work.

· Proficiency with UK accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.).

· Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

· ACCA / CA / Semi-qualified (preferred but not essential).

· Experience managing multiple UK clients.

· Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
