[Remote] Mastercard Integration – Technical Specialist (Mastercom)

They are seeking a Mastercard Integration – Technical Specialist to provide hands-on support for Mastercard payment integrations and collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement transaction flows.


Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical support for Mastercard payment integrations , including Mastercom
  • Guide Appian and integration teams on Mastercard APIs, message formats, and integration patterns
  • Support the design, development, and troubleshooting of end-to-end Mastercard transaction flows
  • Assist with Mastercard Mastercom integrations related to:
  • Disputes and chargebacks
  • Retrieval requests
  • Representment and arbitration workflows
  • Support certification, testing, and defect resolution for Mastercard rails
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis
  • Collaborate with Appian engineers, CardWorks stakeholders, and Mastercard-facing teams
  • Ensure adherence to Mastercard rules, security standards, and compliance requirements
  • Document integration designs, configurations, and operational procedures

Skills

  • Strong experience integrating with Mastercard platforms, including: Authorization, Clearing & Settlement, Network APIs, Mastercom (Dispute & Chargeback Management)
  • Solid understanding of card payment processing flows
  • Experience supporting issuer and/or processor environments
  • API integration experience (REST / SOAP)
  • Message formats: JSON, XML (ISO exposure is a plus)
  • Security standards: OAuth, Certificates, Encryption
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work in a hands-on technical advisory role
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Self-driven with strong ownership and accountability
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-availability payment environments
  • Prior experience working with Appian or other BPM / workflow platforms
  • Exposure to card dispute lifecycle management
  • Experience supporting certification and compliance testing
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery environments
