Job Description

REQUIRES IN OFFICE 3 DAYS PER WEEK: PLANO, TX

The People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) works with Pizza Hut’s Restaurant Support Center (RSC) teams to drive business results through people, culture, and inclusivity. This critical role provides thought-leadership and execution for the full employee experience, including onboarding, engagement, performance management, bench planning, and development planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing Talent - 40%

  • Partner with department heads to drive effective internal development and succession planning processes resulting in stronger bench across departments.
  • Advise department coaches on general employee relations and performance management issues.
  • Partner with other P&C partners to run on Building People Capability (BPC) cycle and keep process top of mind all year with department heads and coaches.
  • Lead mid-year people planning with functional clients – department heads and coaches.
  • Build strong relationships with all functional partners and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Manage employee life-cycle needs including promotions, transfers, resignations, and terminations.
  • Provide thought leadership with talent acquisition team to grow talent pipeline and needed business capabilities.
  • Partner with other HR teams on internal people moves and collaborate on people best practices.

Developing People– 25%

  • Proactively partner with coaches to identify needs and partner on appropriate solutions with Organizational Development to continue to build individual, coach, and organization capability.
  • Partner with Pizza Hut Organizational Development, Global and Yum! Learning as thought partner on development needs, while also providing strong point of view on nominations.

Driving Organizational Effectiveness– 25%

  • Continue to develop an engaging and inclusive culture based on our Pizza Hut People Promise and Culture Values.
  • Co-lead engagement survey communications and work directly with Leadership to drive engagement action planning.
  • Effectively execute key organizational/leadership changes.
  • Lead outside-in thinking to stay current on HR industry news.

HR Team Support – 10%

  • Cross-train on HR Talent Management Team processes to collaborate and support team when needed (i.e. data-reporting, talent management system data, creating offers).
  • Identify process breakdowns, work with appropriate team(s) to update systems, tools, and processes to drive effectiveness.
  • Update Oracle as needed and maintain Org Charts.

Cross-Functional Relationships:

  • Total Rewards Leader, Talent Acquisition Partners, Organizational Development Partners, Leadership Team, Functional Leaders, Coaches, & Legal Counsel

Required Qualifications:

  • You will be required to attend the Plano, TX office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • 3+ years HR experience
  • Strong coaching and client consulting skills
  • Proven results in building client partnerships and leveraging processes and tools to drive work to closure
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to execute strategy, including corresponding tactics, on a timely basis
  • Strong understanding of HR policies and practices
  • Role models our culture and creates passion in others for living our culture values
  • Experience in facilitating groups and conducting training
  • Excellent conflict management skills – including leading others in effectively navigating through productive conflict
  • Strong team player

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources Management or related field
  • 3+ years generalist experience is a plus
  • PHR or SHRM certification is a plus

Salary Range: $96,700 to $113,800 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
