Paid Media Specialist - Contractor

Essential Job Duties We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Paid Media Specialist to help amplify BambooHR's brand and drive demand through strategic paid media initiatives. This role focuses on content syndication, webinars, sponsorships, newsletters, and industry partnerships, programs that put BambooHR in front of the right audiences and position us as a trusted leader in HR technology. As part of the Demand Generation team, you'll play a key role in executing campaigns that balance brand awareness and sales pipeline growth. You'll collaborate with content, brand, and partner marketing teams to ensure each paid media initiative delivers measurable impact and aligns with our broader marketing strategy. You will: Plan and execute paid media programs across content syndication, sponsored webinars, email newsletters, and industry publications. Manage relationships with media vendors and publishers, ensuring campaigns launch smoothly and all creative assets and deliverables meet expectations. Coordinate campaign logistics—including creative submissions, landing page setup, tracking implementation, and reporting. Monitor performance across channels and vendors; compile data, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve lead quality and engagement. Partner with content, brand, and product marketing teams to align messaging, audiences, and campaign objectives. Track spend and performance across programs to ensure alignment with monthly budgets and quarterly goals. Support audience segmentation and campaign strategy, targeting high-value industries and personas. Assist in vendor contract management and onboarding, working with procurement and legal as needed. Immediate Focus Areas (First 90 Days) Support execution and optimization of ongoing content syndication and sponsored programs to maintain lead flow consistency. Manage tracking, reporting, and vendor communication for in-flight media campaigns. Identify quick-win opportunities to improve lead quality and engagement rates across active media channels. Assist with early 2026 media planning, including evaluating vendors, forecasting spend, and identifying new partnership opportunities. What You Need to Get the Job Done 1+ year of experience in demand generation, media planning, or digital marketing (B2B or SaaS preferred). Strong understanding of paid media fundamentals, especially third-party, content-based, or co-marketing programs. Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple campaigns and vendors simultaneously. Analytical thinker with the ability to turn performance data into actionable insights. Clear, professional communicator who collaborates well across teams and departments. Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving marketing environment. Strong proficiency in campaign tracking and data hygiene (UTMs, lead source consistency, and pipeline attribution). Experience analyzing campaign performance in dashboards or spreadsheets (e.g., Tableau, Google Sheets, or Excel). Comfortable working independently while maintaining regular communication and alignment with internal stakeholders.
