MarTech Product Owner

About the position

Morningstar is seeking a Product Owner to join the Central Technology Web Development team, specifically supporting the Corporate Marketing division. This role is based in our Chicago office and is pivotal in executing the corporate marketing roadmap. The Product Owner will coordinate with various stakeholders, including Marketing business leaders, technology development teams, engineers, and quality assurance personnel. This position requires a unique blend of project management expertise, marketing acumen, and technology experience to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality web solutions that align with Morningstar's strategic goals. In this role, the Product Owner will collaborate closely with the development team and business stakeholders to establish short-term, medium-term, and strategic priorities for Morningstar's Corporate Marketing Technology. They will work with key stakeholders to define and document requirements and user stories for new product features, ensuring that the product roadmap is executed in accordance with Agile principles. This includes managing the backlog, planning iterations, and leading scrum meetings to facilitate clear communication and efficient workflows. The Product Owner will also be responsible for defining a clear product vision, identifying growth opportunities, and managing the program documentation repository. They will assist in presentations regarding program updates and track key performance metrics to measure success. Additionally, leveraging AI across all aspects of central technology to support automation and drive insights will be a critical component of this role. The Product Owner will also partner with vendors and maintain regular communications to ensure alignment and progress on projects.
