This role is focused on strategic analytics and tools, integration and collaboration, and storytelling with data to influence decisions and optimize operations. You will lead development of measurement and forecasting frameworks, reporting solutions, and initiatives that enable leaders to make informed, forward-looking business decisions.</p><p></p><p>You will report to the Senior Manager of F&B / Merchandise Business Insights and Analytics.</p><h2></h2><h2><b>What You Will Do</b></h2><ul><li><p>Manage and mentor a team of insights analysts and forecasting analysts, fostering growth in analytical thinking, business acumen, and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Build a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and accountability.</p></li><li><p>Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform product assortment, operational efficiency and profitability, and guest experience strategies.</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools that measure KPIs and business outcomes.</p></li><li><p>Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities, quantify impacts, and prioritize initiatives aligned with business objectives.</p></li><li><p>Serve as a trusted advisor to F&B and Merchandise leadership, influencing decisions through data-driven narratives.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate and integrate with key partners (e.g. Revenue Management, Finance, Pricing, Industrial Engineering) to ensure alignment on metrics, methodologies, and reporting standards.</p></li><li><p>Drive adoption of advanced analytics techniques where appropriate (e.g. forecasting) to enhance decision-making.</p></li><li><p>Champion process improvements and scalable solutions for reporting and measurement.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Required Qualifications & Skills</b></h2><ul><li><p>5+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or related fields, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to lead high performing analytical teams, delivering insights and tools that impact business strategy.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize data into compelling stories.</p></li><li><p>Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and coding applications (e.g. SQL, Python).</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and influencing skills, and ability to tailor messaging for executive audiences.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></h2><ul><li><p>Experience and knowledge of F&B or Merchandise business preferred.</p></li><li><p>5+ years of leadership experience</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Education</b></h2><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or related field (Master’s preferred) or equivalent work experience.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Additional Information </b></h2><p>Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
