Government Outreach Associate Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate, grow, and strengthen consumer relations with a warm, sincere, and courteous demeanor
  • Serve as the primary liaison in our local community by conducting outreach and engagement activities
  • Attend daily meetings with senior program managers to stay up to date on emerging trends, understand program expectations and analyze progress to develop resolutions that exceed set goals
  • Derive confidential information from consumers such as contact information, identity verification, and address in order to verify eligibility for federal benefits
  • Complete full case evaluations and determine the client's eligibility for the division program
Government Outreach Associate Requirements:
  • No degree required, just excellent people skills for customers from all walks of life
  • Background in Customer Service, Community Outreach, or Sales
  • Experience with public speaking, nonprofit organizations, and delivering educational presentations
  • Confident, articulate verbal and written communicator
  • Comfortable communicating in communities with diverse populations
  • Ability to take initiative and seek out additional projects
  • Grasp company and program outreach knowledge quickly
