About the position

The Financial Analyst (Sales/Marketing) is responsible for providing analytical support to Operations and Marketing leadership, contributing insights to the company's sales performance and marketing programs. This position identifies issues affecting the company's financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analysis/reports on sales transactions and average check trends (mix and pricing) to identify issues affecting the company's financial performance.
  • Partners with the Marketing department in determining the financial impact and performance of media and promotions.
  • Tests market initiatives and their financial impact.
  • Serves as lead in weekly, periodic, and annual planning of sales and advertising items.
  • Performs ad hoc analysis on sales and marketing metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field required
  • Minimum three years of finance and financial experience, preferably in the retail/hospitality industry
  • If hired, successful completion of annual store training
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
