Find your fit - and your future. We're looking for a highly strategic and experienced Director of Retail Employee Experience to redefine the employee experience for our retail teams. This role will lead the vision, strategy, and execution for all retail-facing communications and learning and development initiatives, directly impacting the engagement, growth, and effectiveness of over 5,000 employees across the US and Canada. As a leader in a highly visible role, you'll partner with senior leadership to build a culture where employees feel informed, supported, and empowered to succeed. This position reports to the Senior Director, US Retail & Omni Channel Operations and will manage a team of five direct reports. About the Job * Develop and execute a comprehensive communication and learning strategy that aligns with business goals, covering everything from daily operational updates to long-term career development. * Lead the overall communication strategy and content development for all retail stores, including critical updates on consumer experience, operations, recognition, and engagement. * Create and deliver high-impact presentations, speeches, and videos for senior leaders, including the VP of Retail. * Own and manage all field events and conferences, while also developing a comprehensive recognition and contest strategy that motivates and inspires our retail teams. * Build and oversee a robust learning and development program for all levels of our retail organization-from stylists to district managers. This includes creating and managing content for onboarding, service, operational, and product training. * Leverage data, insights, and feedback to continuously improve and elevate training programs, embracing a growth mindset to innovate how we communicate and train. * Evaluate and improve team processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in how we deliver communications and training. * Oversee communication and learning management systems, partnering with global teams on enhancements and platform changes to ensure a seamless employee experience. * Mentor, inspire, and develop a team of five to execute the strategy and achieve departmental goals. About You * You have 7-10 years of experience in communications, learning and development, or a related field, preferably within the retail or hospitality industries. * You have a proven track record of creating and implementing large-scale training and communication strategies. * You are a strategic leader with the ability to influence and partner with all levels of management and employees. * You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and can tailor your message to various audiences. * You have exceptional project management, organizational, and change management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. * You are an expert at prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and working independently. * You have a strong understanding of learning management systems and communication platforms. * A Bachelor's Degree is required. * Travel within North America is required. (("This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.")) The expected starting salary range for this role is $144,800 - $219,300 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs. Levi Strauss & Co.
