Role Objectives: The Director of Global Clinical Nursing Operations will provide executive oversight, management, planning, and direction on nursing clinical research operations. The Director will ensure alignment with international regulatory requirements, local country regulations and sponsor expectations. The Director will implement streamlined processes and procedures to improve efficiencies, standardization and quality across the nursing team while ensuring the integrity and compliance of clinical research activities The Global Director of Clinical Nursing Operations will communicate effectively with senior leadership, investigators, and representatives of study sponsors. They will work independently and be able to build, lead, manage, and mentor a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-focused, and responsive decentralized clinical trial services. As a Global Director of Clinical Nursing Operations, you will focus on delivering clinical excellence, operational leadership and execution of the strategy set out by the Head of Clinical Nursing Operations. The Director will be instrumental in driving the company's global growth by ensuring that nursing services remain commercially competitive, operationally scalable, and clinically robust.

What You'll Do:

    • Collaborate with the Head of Clinical Nursing Operations to implement global strategies, provide operational insights, and support strategic decision-making.
    • Lead clinical nursing discussions on client calls, instilling confidence in the company’s nursing capabilities.
    • Act as a clinical leader by translating complex nursing needs into solution-focused plans that build trust with sponsors.
    • Support the RFP process by analyzing study protocols and advising on homecare service capabilities, visit durations, and equipment needs.
    • Identify operational risks early to ensure clinically sound, feasible, and efficient proposals.
    • Represent the company at meetings and conferences, presenting on clinical operations and acting as a WEP brand ambassador.
    • Develop and manage nursing resource plans aligned with study demands, therapy complexity, and regulatory needs, while partnering with HR to recruit and train staff.
    • Promote a high-performance culture with strong clinical standards, ensuring all activities meet GCP and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with PMs and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with business goals.
    • Oversee nursing budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to contracted pricing without compromising quality.
    • Manage clinical escalations, client relationships, deviations, and complaints, ensuring compliance and senior oversight.
    • Track nursing performance metrics, support continuous improvement, and align global nursing models with business growth and future therapeutic/geographic needs.

What You'll Need:

    • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing required; advanced related degree preferred.
    • 5–10 years of progressive experience in nursing and clinical research across both domains.
    • Proven leadership of global or multi-regional teams and cross-functional collaboration.
    • Extensive experience in clinical trial operations, including compliance, patient coordination, and protocol implementation.
    • Deep understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and local/international clinical research regulations.
    • Experience with decentralized or hybrid clinical trial models and related technologies (e.g., eSource, telehealth, scheduling tools).
    • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities with capacity to manage competing priorities across geographies.
    • Skilled communicator with effective verbal and written communication skills for sponsor/client-facing and internal leadership roles.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, embed clinical excellence, and align clinical delivery with business goals.
    • Experience in resource planning and budgeting within fast-paced, globally matrixed environments.
