Central Selling Associate Flooring (Remote) EST & CST Time

About the position

The Central Selling Associate for Flooring is a remote position that operates within the Eastern and Central Standard Time zones. This role involves working within a system-based work queue to identify activities ready for review and utilizing various internal selling and project management systems to obtain and verify information related to service requests. The associate will communicate with stores and service providers regarding quote details, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure efficient workflow while collaborating with others. The position requires providing excellent customer service, monitoring order statuses, and managing customer follow-ups to ensure project requirements are met satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

  • Identify activities ready for review within system-based work queue.
  • Obtain and verify information related to service requests using internal systems.
  • Communicate with stores and service providers regarding quote details.
  • Add product and promotional information to quotes as needed.
  • Refigure quotes based on customer changes or new measurements.
  • Organize work processes for efficient workflow.
  • Provide timely information to peers and leadership.
  • Offer feedback on the centralized selling model.
  • Understand local competitive offerings and communicate advantages of Lowe's products.
  • Deliver SMART customer service through adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Respond knowledgeably to customer and employee inquiries.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with orders and projects.
  • Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers.
  • Enter, process, and track customer orders and installations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Up to one year of experience in a call center, office administrative, high volume retail, service support, or similar work environment.
  • Must obtain a salesperson license if required by state or local municipality within 60 days of employment.
  • Internet access with minimum 20mbps download and 5mbps upload speed.
  • Ability to maintain a distraction-free work environment.
